I'm sympathetic to the idea of going away or becoming a techno luddite, so I can live in some unabomber style shack and write all day. I'm very sympathetic to that idea but I enjoy those cosmpolitan citadels too much. I like concrete. Neon lights. Crowds and concerts. The whole deal.
